FALLAS TOUR is a walking tour through the city center of Valencia, offered by Licensed tour guides, where the visitor will be able to discover the major feast of Valencia: the FALLAS.
This tour is not a simple going back and forth from ‘falla’ to ‘falla’. This tour concentrates, in 2h30′, all the basic and essential information about this invaluable tradition for valencian people, declared World Heritage by the UNESCO.
We will meet in Correos building, main doorway. Look for the ORANGE umbrella!
We will tell you the origin of this Festival and its evolution over the centuries, and we will see one of the biggest and most important Fallas: the City Hall's Falla
We will speak of the pyrotechnic tradition, especially of the 'Mascletà', the most massive and attractive act of Las Fallas
The clothing and silk is another of the pillars of the most important Valencian festival
The 'Cremà' is the final moment of Las Fallas, the true "raison d'être" of this ephemeral art
We will visit Fallas of the historical center, important for being the oldest and best known
We will get to know everything that surrounds a Festival as complete as Las Fallas: gastronomy, music bands, the culture of gunpowder, life on the streets...
We will finish the tour explaining the Floral Offering that is done every year in the Plaza de la Virgen
